I loved it for its nostalgic quality. Everything in it was so OLDSCHOOL, and I love it because modern cars don't have these qualities anymore. For instance, the way of locking it was the way people would legitimately lock their car doors in the 1980s. The steering was not powersteering,,,meaning you need some muscles to park and whatnot. The gauges inside were so old looking but awesome at the same time. It was like I was living the life of an 80s person in present day hahaha. I started driving this temporary Honda I have and it's so advanced compared to my truck. It was so hard to get used to! Steering was the biggest thing I had to get used to, because in the Honda it feels like I'm driving in an arcade driving videogame!
I am selling my truck and hopefully its next owner will be able to appreciate it the way I did, and perhaps be able to restore it. It could probably last another year, but I just don't have the funds to keep it up anymore. I am so sad about this :(
GOOD BYE 1987 MAZDA TRUCK, I WILL MISS YOU!! <3
Isn't it so bad ass?
The next post, I will hopefully have pictures of a newer Mazda car I have purchased recently :):)
Your truck looks so cute, I can totally understand why you would not want to let it go.
ReplyDeleteI love all my things, old and new, and would never want to replace them. :)

ReplyDeleteill be sad if i get my first car and had to let it go !
xx
lol I embrace the black spray paint job bud, it's what makes it oldschool. Also, these trucks are heard to run well into 500kms...and I did buy it for $600 at 290kms and it still ran like a beast! :) Not only that, I bought my recent car at 145 kms, but it doesn't mean it's a piece of shit either. It's a Mazda MX-3 and I'm sure it could kick your car's rear in :)
ReplyDeletePretty sure I know who you are too, since you decided to post on a post that has to do with a vehicle that I wrote about MONTHS ago. You really have a life...NOT. :)
